The Mojave Desert is made up of many scenic wonders such as sand dunes, jagged volcanic cinder cones, staggering rock formations and a lot more stupendous things. The Mojave is about 29 million acres wide or 28 per cent of California’s landmass with elevations ranging from 250 feet below sea level to nearly 12,000 feet. The Mojave Desert also has cactus's, trees and plants but not many.
The Mojave is also called miles of wonders because of its landscape and the way that the rocks just naturally place themselves in shapes.The desert is filled with steep mountains and dirty, dry rock. The Mojaves main wonders are: The Joshua tree, Death Valley, Valley of fire, Trona Pinnacles,Red Rock Canyon, Devils Punchbowl, Hercule's Finger, Desert NWR, Ash Meadows NWR, Wild life, Bird life and Wild flowers.
